On behalf of the Firefighters Curling Association we would like to thank the Chilliwack Fire Department and the organizing committee for a very organized and well run tournament. We will also keep everyone informed on next years host city Victoria, BC for the 2018 Firefighters Curling Championships.

There has been a lot of questions about the sweeping regulations for the upcoming provincials. As most of you know there are new CCA regulations regarding types of fabric to be used in competitions this year. As far as the BCFFCA is concerned we will not be forcing players in our provincial to follow these rules put out by the CCA.
To let you know that as a National Curling Association the CFFCA will be enforcing the new fabric regulations at the Canadian Firefighters Curling Championships in Mississauga. What this means is that whoever qualifies for the Canadians will have to have the special fabric on their brooms at the Canadians.
Hope this clears up some confusion in this matter.

The BC Fire Fighters Curling Association has arranged with The Hampton Inn to have rooms blocked off for all participants with a special room rate. Room Special $99.00 per night and hot breakfast each morning. Taxes not included.
Everyone has until January 15, 2017 to book their hotel rooms to get the special rate from the Hampton Inn. The Hampton In may not honor this rate after January 15, 2017. So Book Now!!
