Friday Morning Curling is here again!!

Welcome back curlers! It is another year and time to be thinking of sliding and sweeping (otherwise known as curling).

To register simply fill-out the registration form that says Friday Morning Curling Registration Form in the left column.

We are encouraging new members to come out and give curling a try. It doesn’t matter if you are a pro or never thrown a rock before. Learn the game and be part of the rich history and tradition of curling. Come out and enjoy the great hospitality of Emergency Services Curling League and have a great time while you are there.
Good curling and most of all Good Friends make lasting Friendships. Enjoy!!!

Friday Morning Curling Poster

Passing of Dave Tory

Some sad news regarding long time F/F curler, Dave Tory.
Dave played third, on the second BC team to win the Canadian Fire Fighters Championships back in 1986 (3 winners to date from BC)

Information on his Celebration of Life is below.

Dave Tory passed away on Thursday, August 6.  He was at his cabin and suffered had a perforated ulcer. He was operated on in Williams Lake and then flown down to VGH, but never made the hospital.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal City Curling Rink on Friday, August 14 at 1:00 PM.

No Friday Morning Curling So A Few Of Us Went Golfing

There was no friday morning curling for the emergency services curling league so a few of us went golfing at the Vancouver Golf Club.
