65+ Years of Firefighter Curling Tradition. One Province. One National Championship. BC FIREFIGHTER CURLING PROVINCIALS — CAMPBELL RIVER 2027
Did you know that firefighter curling in BC traces its roots back to 1958?
The tradition began with Vancouver firefighter Aubrey Neff, whose vision brought firefighters together through curling and helped establish a national championship. The first Canadian Dominion Fire Fighters Curling Championship was held in 1960, and that tradition continues today.
Now it’s our turn to keep that legacy alive!
The BC Firefighter Curling Provincials are more than a competition. They’re an opportunity to represent your department, build friendships across the fire service, and compete for the honour of representing British Columbia at the Canadian Fire Fighters Curling Championship — NATIONALS!
Win Provincials. Earn the opportunity to represent BC at Nationals.
We’re calling on fire departments across British Columbia, especially our Vancouver Island departments, to get their teams involved and help make Campbell River a provincial gathering to remember.
Whether you’re a seasoned curling team, a group of firefighters ready to take on a new challenge, or a supporter of firefighter sports, this is your opportunity to be part of something bigger.
Honour the tradition. Compete for provincial pride. Chase a national championship.
Keep the firefighter brotherhood strong.
