The BC Fire Fighters Curling League started in 1958. In 2024, we began to open our doors to all emergency service workers in the Lower Mainland in BC. We are the only still existing firefighters curling league in the province. We want to carry on this club so we are always welcoming of new curlers of any skill level!
Are you a paid, volunteer, retired or working fire fighter or emergency services worker?
Looking to learn curling or are you a seasoned curler?
It does not matter what your skill level is!
We play every Friday morning at 9:30 am, October – March, Royal City Curling Club in New Westminster, BC.
New members / those interested are welcome to try curling – we’ll show you how, there are brooms available to rent, and we enjoy beverages after!
Fall 2025 – We are looking to grow our numbers!
Bring a buddy, and come and try curling! It’s athletic (sweeping is a good workout!), strategic, and has astounding camaraderie. We’re running a cheeky marketing campaign: mention ‘Steve’s Clever Girlfriend‘ when you attend – she’s determined to help us get members (and will be rewarded with beer!)
If you are interested joining the league, show up on Friday morning, or call or text Steve E 604 802 0915.
Come out and enjoy the game, and take part in the long and rich history of this league.
Good Curling, everyone!
